How to get to Staffa Cottage

Car Ferries from:

Oban/Craignure (bookable) Arrive 30 mins before departure

Lochaline/Fishnish and Kilchoan/Tobermory: No booking, but at busy periods it can take time

From Craignure

Turn right off the ferry, onto A849 and go to Salen (11 miles). In Salen turn left by the church onto B8035

From Fishnish

Go to the 'T' junction with A849, turn right, go to Salen (6 miles). In Salen turn left by the church onto B8035

From Tobermory

Take the A849 southwards, go to Salen (9 miles). In Salen turn right by the church onto B8035

From Salen

Continue on B8035, passing Gruline (3 miles), Knock (4 miles), then along the picturesque south shore of Loch na Keal past impressive Gribun Rocks until you reach the township of Gribun (11 miles).

Staffa cottage is the first cottage on the right past the red telephone box (name on the gate).

From Iona/Fionnphort/Bunessan

Take A849 eastwards to the junction with B8035 (signed 'Scenic route to Salen'). Turn left, follow B8035 to Gribun.
